It's a disease out here called clout. People be doing any and everything to gain popularity or attention. It’s all over social media and for some, it’s all for social media. People have a tendency to take things too far. It's all fun and games until it's not.
Nonetheless, it provides some people with the validation they were seeking. It’s temporary and you’ll end up constantly looking for it. Seeking validation from others keeps you from accepting yourself and gives you a false sense of confidence.

Self-acceptance is key in building and maintaining confidence. It's important to focus on what is within rather than what the outside thinks of you.

Change your mindset.
Rewiring your brain to speak more positively about yourself and your situations can change your outlook on life. That’s whats going to make you into a more confident person. There’s enough self-worth in this life for everyone, literally. Try repeating these affirmations every morning and night:
I am a confident and beautiful person inside and out
There are no obstacles I cannot overcome
Each day, I become better, braver, and bolder
I am excited about the person I am becoming
I am proud of myself
Level 2: Get ready to start your day

Start every morning by getting ready: do your hair, maybe your makeup, and change out of your pajamas. It may sound tedious, especially if you don't plan on heading outside for the day. But, it can help you feel better about yourself.
When you look good you feel good so start behaving and presenting yourself the way you would if you already had that confidence.
Level 3: Talk back to your inner saboteur

That little voice in your head can be a real bully sometimes. It is your shadow self seeking attention or it can be your inner child wanting you to tend to your wounds. Whatever it may be you do need to tend to it.
Don't ignore yourself. Start talking back to yourself and healing your inner wounds. That can also be what is affecting your self-confidence.
You don't need to believe every thought that comes to your mind. They are only thoughts and make up a small part of a whole you. Start questioning your thoughts and feelings. Determine if they truly represent how you feel.
Level 4: Work on your goals in life

BOSS LEVEL 5: Take yourself on 3 dates

This is the final level because it tests your willingness to commit to yourself. To be truly comfortable in your own skin and present that to the world. Someone is always going to have something to say, but, that shouldn’t stop you from proudly showing yourself off. Do things you love and learn to enjoy your own company.
When you accept yourself, you take away anyone's power over you.

Do you really hate the way you look or do you hate people constantly telling you how to look?
Both reasons are completely valid but, it's important to recognize the root of the problem. At the root, you can identify and solve the problem directly.
Become aware of how you see yourself and stop taking people’s suggestions about your life. Many times people are projecting their insecurities onto others because they lack self-awareness. This just causes damage to their own self-worth and someone else's.
Be aware and accept yourself.
Then the judgment of others who are dealing with their own issues won't affect your self-confidence.
Determine your strengths and weaknesses. Journey through to discover every part of yourself. Get a better understanding to completely change your life.

Be patient with yourself ~
Start one day at a time. Your life doesn't have to be a quick fix for everything. It may feel like a long time but the time will pass either way. Spend that time improving your life and health. Take notice of how you feel daily. Start getting in tune with yourself.
You should always want better for yourself. Some people fear change but it is a natural part of who we are. Change shouldn’t be thought of as negative. Determine your outcome.
Be at the head of your life.

How you perceive yourself is the determining factor for your self-confidence. You only get one chance as you in this life. Are you going to keep letting people tell you how to feel? Or are you going to take control of your life and start telling people to mind the business that pays them.
With these levels, you'll become a more confident you. Through the midst of struggle be patient and committed to being true to yourself. You won't regret the actions you make today to loving yourself a little more tomorrow.
